Out in the cold – that’s how many traditional conservatories are left once they cease providing thermal efficiency in winter and overheat in summer. All it takes to restore them back to their former glory is to remove the existing roof and replace it with a contemporary lightweight tiled conservatory roof. The insulating properties of this extension immediately improved upon completion of the fitting, with the tile finish specifically chosen to replicate the old conservatory roof tiles and existing house tiles.
The immaculately detailed white UPVC windows, with four individual top openings included, will further re-establish a much higher standard of thermal efficiency, and match up terrifically with the white UPVC guttering and downpipes. Access onto the patio area comes courtesy of an invaluable side entrance and a swift, soft slide of the patio doors will connect the conservatory to the traditional interior of the house. To compensate for the small loss of natural sunlight that occurs after the installation of a replacement tiled conservatory roof, and the absence of a skylight, downlighters have been placed in the roofing system; a lighting solution certain to add to the calm ambience of the cream/beige décor. This conservatory now looks and feels completely reborn into an all year round Garden Room.
