Extending Is An Easy Job With Clearview Home Improvements

Either because of a growing family or maybe an excess amount of hoarding, your home may not offer the same amount of spaciousness that it did when you first moved in.

You can try and declutter the house in the vain hope that this will free up some room, but it may only go so far, leaving you facing two possible options to get around the problem – relocate or extend.

If extending your existing property is more financially doable, and in any case, you have no desire to move, Clearview should be able to integrate an extension into your existing home setup.

As a well-established extensions specialist, we will supply you with an extension that beautifully fits in with the original character of the house and provides you with ounces of space to cook, entertain and chill out.

And, extending won’t be a difficult process, for three main reasons…

  1. Planning Permission

Earlier this year, the Government announced that the temporarily relaxed planning laws for home extensions would become permanent. They allow English householders to add single-storey rear extensions up to 6m for terraced and semi-detached homes, and up to 8m long for detached houses, without planning permission.

The Tories have even recently proposed letting homeowners have a two-storey extension fitted without planning permission, but this is some way off being ratified yet.

For now though, there is a strong possibility we will be able to commencing with the constructing of an extension without any hold-ups. If a planning application does need to be submitted, Clearview can help organise it for you.

  1. Finance

We have a finance calculator on our Finance page where you can figure out a finance package to help you pay for an extension more easily.

You have options to spread the cost over three years interest free, buy now and pay monthly (over 5 to 15 years), or buy now and pay in 12 months.

Not everyone has the financial luxury of being able to buy an extension straight off, so use our finance to secure yours.

  1. Guarantee

Even with finance, buying an extension is a huge commitment and you don’t want to end up being disappointed with the investment.

Disappointment will be far from the overriding feeling you have as the standard of build-quality offered by Clearview is truly outstanding, which is why our customers all receive a 20 year guarantee, and not the normal 10 year guarantee.

If we were you, we wouldn’t accept anything less than 20 years of cover, and that’s despite almost every company in the home improvement industry only offering a 10 year guarantee.

Extending shouldn’t cause you a single headache, and it won’t when you have Clearview project managing the extension for you. Click here to see some of our best work.
