Clearview Home Improvements Is Both FENSA And GGF Approved

Before appointing any home improvement company for the first time, you would be foolish not to do your homework on them.

Go out and visit their showroom. Look for reviews of their work online. Find out if they have any accreditations.

Accreditations in our line of business are significant as they symbolise that a company has been formally recognised for the quality of its work and service levels by a reputable industry body.

Clearview has a trio of accreditations, including being FENSA (Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme) registered and a member of the GGF (Glass and Glazing Federation).

FENSA

You may have some familiarity with FENSA because of their recent TV advertising campaign.

If you don’t, we can tell you that it is a Competent Person Scheme and buying new windows and doors from a FENSA installer assures you of protection.

Not only will you receive an Insurance Backed Guarantee from them at the conclusion of any project, but you will also be handed a FENSA certificate, proving that your windows and doors have been certified by your local authority.

This certificate needs to be kept in a safe place as you will need it when it comes to selling the property. Without this certificate, you may have trouble securing a buyer. If you misplace the certificate, you can order a replacement certificate for a small fee.

Omitting to use a FENSA installer will mean that you must certify the installation yourself.

GGF

It just so happens that the FENSA scheme was established by the GGF, back in 2002.

Formed in 1977, the GGF is a trade association that exists to raise standards within the glass and glazing industry.

Like with FENSA, a company will only be accepted on to the scheme by proving that their products and service standards are of the highest quality. We were thoroughly vetted prior to being granted our member status.

There is also a Code of Good Practice that all members must abide by to retain their accredited status.

In the event of you being unsatisfied with the standard of work provided by a GGF member, there is an independent and impartial FREE conciliation service available to resolve disputes between customers and members.

We are continuously monitored by the GGF, so we cannot afford to let our standards drop.

Our other accreditation is our membership of the Ultra Installer Scheme. More details about that and why else Clearview can be trusted, are on our About page
