Clearview Makes Donation to Animal Care

Clearview has dug deep and made a charitable donation to Animal Care after carrying out an installation project for the Lancaster based charity.

Animal Care worked with the consultants at our Preston showroom to help them with part of a refurbishment project at its Lancaster premises where we installed new double glazing windows in the Care Warden’s property on site.

We decided to make the £500 donation after seeing for ourselves the fantastic work being undertaken by the charity. Each year since 1978, Animal Care rescues and rehomes more than 1,000 animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents and birds. The charity relies solely on donations and fundraising to carry out its work throughout the region.

Our sales director Gary Oakes, who presented the cheque with Clearview MD Chris Mitchell, commented: “Our fitters were called to Animal Care in December to install some new windows for the charity. Whilst the team were there, they were completely blown away by the fantastic work that the team at Animal Care do.

“Once the team had completed the job, we all put our heads together to think of how else we could help them which is when we decided to make the donation as a gesture of our support for the amazing work they do.”

Speaking on behalf of Animal Care, Faye Goymer said: “As a charity that relies solely on donations and fundraising, we were delighted when Clearview called us out of the blue to say that they wanted to help us in the work that we do by making their own donation.

“The money that we have received will go towards food, shelter and Vets bills for the animals in our care whilst they’re waiting to be rehomed.”
