New Installations Manager Required At Clearview

Our installation teams are busier than they have ever been as homeowners around the region rush to get their properties fully winter-ready. Order books for 2018 are also very full.

So that all installations conducted by our fitters continue to run smoothly and are of the outstanding quality that our customers have come to expect, Clearview is looking to appointment a new Installations Manager.

There are many different facets to this pivotal role within the company and you must be able to display an exceptional level of technical knowledge. It will be your responsibility to supervise projects from start to finish and see that they are delivered on time and on budget to help us further advance our customer satisfaction rates.

Strong knowledge of the general construction industry is a necessity and you must have leadership qualities equal to it, be someone with the drive needed to provide clear direction and “make it happen”.

Overview of duties

  • Ensure installations are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively and in a timely fashion.
  • Review contracts, issue work to surveyors, assist surveyors and ensure all deadlines are met by internal and external contractors.
  • Appropriately schedule work for fitting teams and external contractors.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all tradespersons.
  • Perform site visits to attend to any installation issues, ensure health and safety obligations are met and check on client satisfaction.
  • Ensure contracts are completed on time and to the expected standard.
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, dealers)

Overview of attributes required

  • Experience and strong knowledge of the window / conservatory industry.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills to ensure installations are delivered on time.
  • A strong negotiator capable of achieving budgets and maintaining profitability.
  • Excellent product knowledge and up-to-date with industry and new product developments.
  • Strong technical capability with thorough understanding of installation processes.
  • Good commercial and business acumen.
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • A strong communicator.
  • Clean driving licence.
